First class to spend all 3 years at new Fitch Mountain campus
The first group of students who entered the newly built Fitch Mountain School campus as third graders graduated last week as fifth graders.
The auditorium at the school was packed with proud parents and family members who watched in excitement as the students walked across the stage to receive their certificates. Balloons with “Congratulations Graduate” hovered just above the smiling family members.
Many individual students were also recognized for perfect attendance, exemplary behavior, improvement in English language skills and standouts in math and science.
The graduation was also memorable as the school said its final goodbye to longtime Principal Aracely Romo-Flores, who has accepted a principal position with the Cloverdale School District.
