Retired university professor Tom Gulya will speak on "The Trouble with Tomatoes" at the Windsor Garden Club Meeting Monday, April 13, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Town of Windsor Bluebird Center (Corner of Old Redwood Highway and Bluebird Drive.) Come hear Tom's research into blossom end rot and get your tomato questions answered just in time for seed planting season. The meeting is free and open to the public, and begins with refreshments and social time at 6:30 p.m.

Professor Gulya holds a Ph.D. from Iowa State University. He served on the faculty at North Dakota State University, where he researched various aspects of plant disease systems, before retiring and moving to Sonoma County with his wife. For more details visit:
