The following are excerpted from Cloverdale Police Department daily log entries and the daily logs of the Cloverdale Fire Department.

MONDAY, APRIL 29

8:35 a.m. Welfare check on Treadway Drive and South Cloverdale Boulevard. Caller reports adult male subject with juvenile boy panhandling at stop sign. Requests welfare check of child. Unable to locate.

2:36 p.m. Disturbance on Timber Ridge Court. Caller reports verbal between reporting party and another male. Resolved.

4:15 p.m. Welfare check on Las Colinas Drive for an elderly female sitting on porch. Officers responded, but are unable to locate subject at address.

TUESDAY, APRIL 30

12:56 a.m. Disturbance on Timber Ridge Court. CHP transfer reports verbal argument, not physical. Male has been drinking. Officer reports contacted all involved, counseled and separated.

10:53 a.m. Officer initiated activity at South Cloverdale Boulevard and Healdsburg Avenue. Out with subject who has an open container, and one out of county warrant. Citation to appear.

11:11 a.m. Suspicious circumstances on Healdsburg Avenue. Reporting party reports theft from residence.

5:02 p.m. Burglary on Asti Road and East First Street. Reporting party reports wallet, glasses and cell phone taken from locked vehicle.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 1

1:54 a.m. Suspicious person on Healdsburg Avenue. Reporting party reports male in his 30s, bald with a red t-shirt walking through parking lot, hasn’t been seen in the area before. Gone on arrival.

12:46 p.m. No-injury accident at South Foothill Boulevard and West Brookside Drive. Witness calling to report to vehicles collided and are blocking intersection.

2:18 p.m. Domestic incident at business on North Cloverdale Boulevard. Reporting party reports a male in a black shirt with a backpack and a dog is arguing with a female in front of location. Party states the argument is escalating.

3:13 p.m. Miscellaneous service at business on Cherry Creek Road. Caller reporting that two residents passed each and one took a "swipe" at the other; no contact. After that, there was shirt grabbing but both were separated with no injury. Caller declines police response and states it is a state requirement that they contact the police dept to document event.

7:04 p.m. No-injury accident on South Cloverdale Boulevard and Lake Street. Caller reports vehicle collision.

8:18 p.m. City crew call on Honeysuckle Court. Reporting party reports water bubbling up from the street. Referred to other agency.

9:29 p.m. Domestic incident on South Franklin Street. Party heard screaming, male and female. Checks OK.

THURSDAY, MAY 2

7:17 a.m. Petty theft at apartments on Clark Avenue. Reporting party reports two males taking bikes from bike rack at this location, one ran away and the other, wearing all black, left on Clark toward South Street on a silver bike taken from the rack. Unable to locate.

8:06 p.m. Suspicious person on East Third Street. Reporting party reports a female in the area acting suspicious. Subject has black hair, black sweatshirt and is in her 40s. Reporting party states she is standing on Third Street Bridge taking items out of her purse. Subject moved along.

8:50 p.m. Suspicious person on South Foothill Boulevard. Male, bushy hair loitering in the area. Officer arrested subject on county warrant. Citation to appear.

9:38 p.m. Assist on South Cloverdale Boulevard. Reporting party reports dogs barking, believes dogs are being tortured by shock collars. Out of jurisdiction, transferred to Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office.

9:47 p.m. Domestic related incident on Cherry Creek Road. Reporting party wants to speak to an officer about issues with her spouse and daughter.

9:51 p.m. Suspicious circumstances on Kings Circle. Reporting party reports next door neighbors have been making noise at night regularly over the past few weeks, is concerned about drug activity. Officer advised residents to keep the noise down for the night, only heard normal conversation before contact.

FRIDAY, MAY 3

1:52 p.m. Reckless driving on South Cloverdale Boulevard and Hillview Drive. Reporting party reports two vehicles speeding southbound on the boulevard. Units to be on the lookout.

3:01 p.m. Animal complaint on Mittelstadt Lane. Reporting party reports rooster at a residence. Office reports they checked Mittelstadt and surrounding residences. Unable to locate any chickens or roosters.

5:01 p.m. Suspicious person on West Brookside Drive. Party requests to speak with officer regarding male in his 20s wearing all black clothing and harassing females. Warned and advised.

SATURDAY, MAY 4

11:56 a.m. Reckless driving on East First Street and North Cloverdale Boulevard. Reporting party reports a black Dodge speeding down the boulevard and then turning on East First Street toward River Road. Officer reports gone on arrival.

SUNDAY, MAY 5

5:21 a.m. Assist out at McCray Road and Preston Depot Road. 911 caller reports structure fire south of Geysers Road, east side of freeway across from the old wood mill.

3:43 p.m. Suspicious circumstances on Clark Avenue. Caller requests to speak with officer regarding neighbors urinating in public and on public property. Officer made contact, warned and advised.

4:25 p.m. Suspicious person on West Brookside Drive. Caller reports male drinking beer in the park on West Brookside Drive. Warned and advised.

Cloverdale Fire Department

MONDAY, APRIL 29

4:52 a.m. Hazardous situation on Highway 128 for a tree down blocking both lanes. Tree cut up and removed.

11:19 a.m. lift assist on Tarman Drive for a 96-year-old male to move from one bed to another.

3:57 p.m. Medical aid on South Cloverdale Boulevard for a possible seizure. No transport.

TUESDAY, APRIL 30

9:25 a.m. Medical aid on West First Street for an 86-year-old female with problems getting out of bed, feeling ill. Transported to Sutter.

1:53 p.m. Medical aid on Cherry Creek Road for a female feeling ill. Transported to Sutter.

2:21 a.m. Smoke check on River Road for a control burn that got into tired and other items. CalFire took the lead, issued a citation.

5:39 p.m. Lift assist on Allen Avenue. Pick up and put back.

9:39 p.m. Medical aid on William Circle for a 34-year-old female who bit her tongue due to a seizure. She was transported to Memorial Hospital.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 1

7:39 a.m. Lift assist on Hardister Drive. Pick up and put back.

4:38 p.m. Public assist on Allen Avenue for a male patient with a ground level fall. No medical merit.

7:07 p.m. Vehicle accident on South Cloverdale Boulevard for a single vehicle into the side of a building for a 19-year-old female with minor injuries. Transported to Healdsburg General Hospital.

FRIDAY, APRIL 3

1:15 p.m. Medical aid on Hardister Drive for a male fall victim with injury to his ear. Transported to Sutter.

3:50 p.m. Vehicle assist at Highway 101 and Geysers Road to assist Hopland with a single vehicle accident. Vehicle was stolen, driver fled the scene. CHP to investigate.

8:12 p.m. Medical aid on Healdsburg Avenue for a male patient with psych issues. Transported to Healdsburg General Hospital.

SATURDAY, APRIL 4

5:04 a.m. Medical aid on Vista View Drive for a male patient feeling ill. Transported to Memorial.

8:48 a.m. Public assist on Mulberry Street to assist a female to her feet.

9:35 p.m. Medical aid on Cherry Creek Drive for a female fall victim. Transported to Memorial.

SUNDAY, APRIL 5

5:23 a.m. Structure fire in an abandoned building on Highway 101 and McCray Road. Cloverdale, Geyserville, Healdsburg and CalFire responded.

3:12 p.m. Medical aid on Mulberry Street for a female with lower gastrointestinal problems. Transported to Memorial.
