The following are excerpted from Cloverdale Police Department daily log entries and the daily logs of the Cloverdale Fire Department. 

Tuesday, JANUARY 29

8:15 a.m. Municipal code violation on Porterfield Creek Drive. Caller reports subject camping at the end of the cul-de-sac in a field. Warned and advised.

8:47 a.m. Petty theft on Citrus Fair Drive. Caller reports theft of tools from property, has video surveillance. Footage under review.

12:29 p.m. Dog found at North Jefferson Street and Champlain Avenue returned to owner.

1:20 p.m. Fight disturbance on West First Street. Advice given.

5:11 p.m. Parking violation at Furber Lane and Treadway Drive.

7 p.m. Bicycle violations at South Cloverdale Boulevard and Industrial Drive.

7:59 p.m. Caller reports suspicious vehicle in front of empty house on Josephine Drive with two to four people inside. Officer reports religious missionaries. Moved along.

8:49 p.m. Petty theft at market on South Cloverdale Boulevard. Subject took a cart full of groceries out of the store, which were later recovered.

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 30

12:06 a.m. Suspicious vehicle occupied on Cherry Creek Road. Moved along.

11:05 a.m. Warrant activity at business on South Cloverdale Boulevard. Citation to appear given.

12:06 p.m. Parking violation at Elbridge Avenue and Marguerite Lane.

12:38 p.m. Suspicious and intoxicated person with a gallon bottle of vodka at business on South Cloverdale Boulevard. Warned and advised.

1:31 p.m. Parking violation on Cherry Creek Road. Citation given.

3:04 p.m. Parking violation on South Cloverdale Boulevard. Citation given.

5:14 p.m. Suspicious person at business on Treadway Drive. Moved along.

6:37 p.m. Suspicious circumstances at business on Treadway Drive, male subject consumed product, took others and left without paying. Subject warned and advised.

9:53 p.m. Suspicious vehicle occupied on Kings Ridge Heights. Moved along.

9:58 p.m. Suspicious person at service station on South Cloverdale Boulevard screaming and yelling obscenities.

10:31 p.m. Walk-in reports a local woman came into her house where children were present and vomited all over her bedroom and left a large number of soiled feminine products at the home. Advice given.

11:03 p.m. Transients near locked restrooms at park on Elbridge Avenue. Moved along.

THURSDAY, JANUARY 31

10:12 a.m. Juvenile issue on Healdsburg Avenue.

2:44 p.m. Subject self-surrender to department on Broad Street for citable warrant. Citation to appear given.

5:34 p.m. Suspicious person at business on South Cloverdale Boulevard. Moved along.

7:08 p.m. Warrant activity at business on South Cloverdale Boulevard. Citation to appear given.

11:06 p.m. Suspicious circumstances near East First Street, man in a hoodie carrying a 10-foot stick talking and yelling to himself while walking river park trail.

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 1

1 a.m. Parking violation on Debmar Lane. Citation given.

1:09 a.m. Parking violation on Blair Street. Citation given.

1:19 a.m. Parking violation on Alter Street. Citation given.

1:22 a.m. Parking violation on Tarman Drive. Citation given.

1:40 a.m. Parking violation on Rosewood Drive. Citation given.

8:33 a.m. Suspicious person at South Washington Street and Citrus Fair Drive yelling obscenities near school. Unable to locate.

10:27 a.m. Suspicious person at business on North Cloverdale Boulevard loitering and pacing. Moved along.

10:37 a.m. Suspicious person urinating on building near plaza on North Cloverdale Boulevard. Warned and advised.

3:11 p.m. Caller requests to speak with an officer regarding a shattered vehicle window. Advice given.

4:35 p.m. Suspicious circumstances on Cherry Creek Road.

7:05 p.m. Warrant activity at Levee Road and East First Street. Subject in custody for county warrant. Citation to appear given.

7:34 p.m. Parking violation on South Foothill Boulevard. Red tagged.

SATURDAY,  FEBRUARY 2

7:17 a.m. Suspicious person on East First Street yelling and screaming. Moved along.

8:57 a.m. Abandoned vehicle on Wisteria Circle.

10:50 a.m. Abandoned vehicle on Saint John's Place. Red tagged.

12:54 p.m. Suspicious person screaming at plaza on North Cloverdale Boulevard. Moved along.

1:09 p.m. Juvenile problem at park on Elbridge Avenue. Juveniles made a mud slide on the South Foothill side of the park and were tearing up the lawn. Warned and advised, moved along.

6:25 p.m. Mental illness at business on North Cloverdale Boulevard, man yelling and talking about demons.

7:33 p.m. Walk-in to department on Broad Street reports items stolen while in the area of the river.

8:20 p.m. Battery at business on North Cloverdale Boulevard. 911 caller reports a physical altercation between two parties. Parties separated, declined prosecution. Resolved.

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 3

2:30 a.m. Petty theft at business on North Cloverdale Boulevard. Caller reports a man took several items from behind the counter while cashier was in the back. Requests to speak with an officer about the incident.

11:42 a.m. Street hazard on South Cloverdale Boulevard. Caller reports a refrigerator was left on the sidewalk two days ago that does not belong to immediate neighbors. Officer responded, situation resolved.

2:50 p.m. Abandoned vehicle on North Cloverdale Boulevard. Caller reports a vehicle parked over 72 hours and presents a hazard. Warned and advised.

9:21 p.m. Domestic incident on Rosewood Drive. 911 caller reports a physical altercation with no weapons, but that both have been drinking.

11:24 p.m. Stranded motorist at service station on Old Redwood Highway. Driver contacted, private tow to assist.

MONDAY, JANUARY 28

7:27 a.m. Medical aid on River Road for a woman having difficulty breathing. Transported to Kaiser.

12:14 p.m. Medical aid, welfare check on South Washington Street. No transport.

8:39 p.m. Assisted Geyserville Fire with structure fire on Thomas Road. Was released prior to arrival to respond to calls pending in Cloverdale.

8:45 p.m. Hazardous conditions on North Cloverdale Boulevard. Smell of burning wires reported inside of a building. Investigator determined smell was from the outside and the HVAC system brought the smoke inside.

Tuesday, JANUARY 29

3:11 p.m. Medical aid on Cherry Creek Road for an 86-year-old woman who had a ground-level fall. Transported to Healdsburg District Hospital.

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 30

4:26 a.m. Medical aid on Albany Street for a woman who had a ground-level fall and had a possible broken hip.

1:12 p.m. Medical aid on Clark Street for a 46-year-old man having seizures. Transported to Sutter.

5:24 p.m. Medical aid on River Road for a patient having difficulty breathing. Transported to Kaiser.

THURSDAY, JANUARY 31

10:01 p.m. Hazardous situation on Healdsburg Avenue. Balloons caught in a transformer. No arching or fire but power outage caused as a result.

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 1

1:52 p.m. Hazardous situation on Lake Street. Report of wires down from law enforcement. Determined to be cable lines only, no hazard.

2:55 p.m. Medical aid on North Cloverdale Boulevard for a 15-year-old boy having chest pain. No transport.

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 2

12:15 a.m. Hazardous situation on Dutcher Creek Road. Large oak tree down blocking both lanes of the road. Tree was cut up and removed.

8:15 a.m. Medical aid on Creekside Road for a woman with a sore back after a previous ground-level fall. Transported to Kaiser.

10:13 a.m. Medical aid on Kings Circle for a 60-year-old man feeling ill. Transported to Sutter.

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 3

8:40 a.m. Hazardous condition on Cherry Creek Road. Roadway partially blocked by tree down. County notified of condition and other low-lying trees.
