Cloverdale Police Department

The following are excerpted from Cloverdale Police Department daily log entries and the daily logs of the Cloverdale Fire Department.


8:08 a.m. Suspicious circumstances on Levee Road. Reporting party reports an exhaust pipe laying along the side of the road past the bridge. Party states a truck pulled up and a younger female and male put it in the back of a truck. Reporting party wanted to report incident in case someone reports vehicle tampering.

10:01 a.m. Disturbance on Antonio Street. Reporting party reports male subject breaking items in the house and threatening people. Reporting party cannot remember last name, subject is in his 30s with shoulder length hair, is her daughter’s boyfriend. Subject has been asked to leave several times.

2:30 p.m. Neighborhood dispute on North Washington Street. Requests to speak to officer regarding neighbor who has surveillance cameras on his roof pointed toward her house. Officer reports cameras are not pointed into her yard.

4:23 p.m. Suspicious person on West Fourth Street. Male has been loitering in front of residence repacking his backpack. Reporting party states he just lit a piece of paper on fire. Officer reports subject contacted and moved along.

4:38 p.m. Suspicious circumstances on Williams Circle and Wallace Lane. Reporting party reports community mailbox appears tampered with. Does not appear to be personal boxes, but the outgoing mailbox.

5:28 p.m. Suspicious circumstances on North Washington Street. Reporting party reports possible drug activity between male and female. Male is carrying a white cooler; both are on foot.

9:18 p.m. Disturbance fight at North Main Street and East Third Street. Female juvenile “jumped” by three to four other girls at City Park. One arrested.

11:47 p.m. Reckless driving on South Cloverdale overpass. Reporting party reports a black SUV Facetiming while driving 80 miles per hour. Unable to locate.

Tuesday, JUNE 11

1:46 a.m. Security check on Pepperwood Drive. Reporting party believes someone is tampering with her outdoor spigot.

2:19 p.m. Domestic related incident on South Foothill Boulevard and Cherry Creek Road. CHP transfer; report taken.

8:57 p.m. Assist Sonoma County Sheriff. Reporting party reports a woman came to his door reporting that someone was stealing her car on Levee Road. Transferred to Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office.

10:36 p.m. Suspicious circumstances at Cloverdale Police Department on Broad Street. Reporting party reports that there is a truck following him all over town. Reporting party instructed to drive to police department; truck seen following the vehicle and leaving the parking lot. Officers contact.


7:34 p.m. Suspicious circumstances on South Cloverdale Boulevard. Requests officer regarding bicycle taken from bike rack. Subject contacted and confirmed the bike was not his, he was just watching it so it wouldn’t get stolen. Bike returned to owner.

8:39 p.m. Warrant arrest on East First and Mulberry streets.


12:07 p.m. Suspicious person at business on South Cloverdale Boulevard. Caller reports three subjects, two on bikes carrying a brand new chainsaw in a box. All were located later in the day; one was cited, two arrested and transported to county jail.

1:31 p.m. Suspicious circumstances at business on South Cloverdale Boulevard. Anonymous caller reports subjects on bikes stealing clothes off the rack in front of business. Subjects located and items returned.

7:28 p.m. Disturbance on North Washington Street. Reporting party reports daughter and ex-boyfriend inside the house, she can hear them arguing. Officer responded, one subject arrested and transported to county jail.

11:12 p.m. Suspicious circumstances on North Jefferson Street. Caller reports male and woman on their property looking in vehicles with flashlights, both seen leaving on bicycles.

11:41 p.m. Suspicious circumstances on Josephine Drive. Caller reports friend will not get out of her vehicle. Office responded. Reporting party reported subject was yelling at her and refusing to leave. Officer contacted subject and transported him to the library. Subject advised not to return to reporting party’s house for the evening.


12:37 p.m. Traffic complaint on South Washington Street. Reporting party requests officer to respond to this location for traffic complaint. Reporting party reports summer school drop-off is going on at this time, cars are getting out of the line and going into the other line into oncoming traffic; vehicles are going through the crosswalk with children who are trying to cross the street.

10:44 p.m. hit and run misdemeanor on Brookside Drive. Caller reports vehicle was just hit by another vehicle and it left the area.


1:11 p.m. Accident on South Cloverdale Boulevard. Two vehicle accident, unknown injuries.

12:51 p.m. Medical aid on Spring Street for a 94-year-old female not feeling well. Transported to Healdsburg General Hospital.

5:51 p.m. Medical aid at the Russian River for a male having seizures. Transported to Kaiser.


11:05 a.m. Medical aid on Rockwell Road for a 56-year-old male feeling ill and disoriented. Transported to Memorial.

2:36 p.m. Vegetation fire on Dutcher Creek Road. Workers were welding and cutting.

5:15 p.m. Medical aid on Highway 128 for a 74-year-old male with shortness of breath. Transported to Healdsburg General Hospital.

8:54 p.m. Medical aid on Cherry Creek Road for a 77-year-old female with shortness of breath and chest pain. Transported to Healdsburg General Hospital.


7:23 a.m. Debris fire on Crocker Road for a small fire left unattended by homeless. Fire extinguished and homeless advised.

10:32 p.m. Medical aid on Alana Way for a 72-year-old female with difficulty breathing. Transported to Healdsburg General Hospital.

12:10 p.m. Medical aid on South Cloverdale Boulevard for a 99-year-old female with a fall from a scooter. No transport.

5:02 p.m. Medical aid on Clark Avenue for a 69-year-old female with difficulty breathing. Transported to Sutter.

5:34 p.m. Medical aid on River Road for a report of a female down. All units unable to locate.


10:47 a.m. Medical aid on West Third Street for an 82-year-old female with low blood pressure. Transported to Kaiser.


9:18 a.m. Public assist on East Third Street for a male fall victim; no injury.

10:20 a.m. Medical aid on West Second Street for a female with low blood sugar issues. No transport, treated at the scene.


7:41 a.m. Medical aid on Josephine Drive for a male with difficulty breathing. Transported to Sutter.
