The following are excerpted from Cloverdale Police Department daily log entries and the daily logs of the Cloverdale Fire Department.

MONDAY, JUNE 3

9:53 a.m. Domestic related incident reported at Cloverdale Police Department on Broad Street.

1:53 p.m. Suspicious person on Elbridge Avenue for a male in the park, who has placed pads on one of the trees and is kicking and punching the pads. Reporting party is concerned the tree will be damaged and die off. Officer reports subject contacted, warned and advised.

2:18 p.m. Suspicious person on North Foothill Boulevard. Reporting party reports female associated with a black prius with a Florida plate taking oranges out of yard.

5:15 p.m. Suspicious person at business on South Cloverdale Boulevard. Reporting party reports male subject sitting on the curb panhandling. Subject also has a small child. Officer reports out with subject and another adult, no child. Subjects waiting to catch the bus.

7:41 p.m. Display of weapon on Treadway Drive and South Foothill Boulevard. Subject was threatened by male subject with a bowie knife from a vehicle.

Tuesday, JUNE 4

12:05 a.m. Disturbance on North Main Street. Reporting party reports husband is drunk and she is trying to get him to leave.

6:20 p.m. Suspicious person on Riesling Street. Caller reports a male in his 20s walking in the area and punching the air. Requests officer drive through neighborhood as the subject has not been noticed as residing in the area. Officer responded, subject not located.

6:55 p.m. Suspicious person on East First Street. Caller reports eight to 10 juveniles skateboarding in the alleyway and toward the back of buildings. Officer responded and group contacted, advised to stay off the sidewalk and out of the alleyway.

7:28 p.m. Juvenile problem on East First Street. Caller leaving the area reports juveniles throwing punches at each other, related to previous calls about skateboarding.

8:35 p.m. Petty theft report at business on North Cloverdale Boulevard. Caller requests officer respond to locate video of subject that stole items from the store.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 5

2:10 p.m. Petty theft report at business on South Cloverdale Boulevard. Reporting party reports subject caught on camera stealing items, believes officers can ID the subject. Officer reports store declined prosecution.

5:41 p.m. Suspicious circumstances on South Cloverdale Boulevard. Caller reports male sitting in the handicap parking space in front of business, no vehicle. States he approached her vehicle as she was getting into it, threatened her verbally. She’s never seen him and wants to be sure that he’s not going to be trouble for anyone else. Officer contacted subject who states he felt the reporting party was following him around, so was warning them to stay away from him.

THURSDAY, JUNE 6

9:12 a.m. Suspicious person at plaza on North Cloverdale Boulevard. Anonymous reports subject smoking marijuana. Warned and advised.

11:31 a.m. Warrant arrest on Elbridge Avenue. Transported to county jail.

12:26 p.m. Street or traffic equipment hazard on North Jefferson Street. Caller reports residents are blocking the sidewalk with personal property. It’s been occurring the last week or so, but today it’s the worse it has been. He states that school children have to go into street to bypass. Officer responded; several items to be given away are strewn about the driveway, sidewalk and street.

4:07 p.m. Welfare check at business on South Cloverdale Boulevard. Party requests officer make contact with female with a baby in a stroller begging for money. Reporting party is concerned about the baby's welfare because it is in the sun.

7:04 p.m. Warrant arrest on Theresa Drive and Dutcher Creek Road. Subject located; four warrants.

10:06 p.m. Juvenile problem on Healdsburg Avenue. Reporting party reports a group of juveniles doing a “doorbell ditch” at their home. Reporting party has it on video, is a teacher and knows who the juveniles are and where they live. Also received a call from another residence on Healdsburg Avenue who reported kids banging on the side of their house around 10 p.m.

10:34 p.m. Noise disturbance at business on North Main Street. Reporting party reports very loud people at this address and possibly underage drinking; reporting party would like them to quiet down.

11:09 p.m. Juvenile problem on Cottage Court. Reporting party reports he had a “doorbell ditch” about 10 minutes ago but did not see anyone. He then went out and drove around and saw four younger people get into a car.

FRIDAY, JUNE 7

12:29 a.m. Suspicious person at business on South Cloverdale Boulevard. Reporting party reports someone going between the houses with a flashlight in this complex near the trash bins.

6:57 a.m. Mischief on South Cloverdale Boulevard. Reporting party reports his car was egged sometime last night. Reporting party does not want to make a report, just wanted to report it.

1:18 p.m. Reckless driving on East First Street and Asti Road. Caller reports silver Honda Civic entered area from McCray Road and was racing around the water treatment plant. Unable to locate.

3:40 p.m. Caller reports receiving a phone call from a company announcing themselves as a National Police Association requesting a donation. Dispatch advised caller it is likely a scam.

6:07 p.m. Suspicious person on North Cloverdale Boulevard. Walk-in reports male subject laying in or around the planter box near gravel lot; states tried to wake him to move, but he won’t interact with him.

SATURDAY, JUNE 8

12:11 a.m. Welfare check on North Main and Broad streets. Reporting party requests welfare check of a 2-year-old boy who is pushing a bike alongside a female. Reporting party is concerned child is out so late.

1:51 a.m. Suspicious circumstances on Railroad Avenue. Reporting party reports "something is about to go down in front of this location with a group of people" and then hung up. Resolved.

MONDAY, JUNE 3

6:54 a.m. Smoke Check on Highway 128. Illegal burn extinguished. Air pollution notified.

Tuesday, JUNE 4

11:40 a.m. Medical aid on Wisteria Circle for a medical pendant activation.

8 p.m. Medical aid on Pine Mountain Road for a 68-year-old male whose friends said he was confused. Checked, no transport.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 5

5:17 p.m. Auto aid to Healdsburg for a structure fire. Canceled.

THURSDAY, JUNE 6

8:37 a.m. Vegetation fire on Highway 101 and Dry Creek Road. Assist Healdsburg with a possible vegetation fire. Canceled enroute.

9:01 a.m. Medical aid on Elbridge Avenue for a female patient with a vaginal bleed. Transported to Sutter.

10:17 a.m. Medical aid on Douglas Fir Circle for a male patient that’s altered. Transported to Healdsburg General Hospital.

3:30 p.m. Structure fire on Fitch mountain. Assist Healdsburg Fire with a residential structure fire. Canceled enroute.

6:59 p.m. Medical aid on Mulberry Street for a 5-year-old with a ground level fall.

FRIDAY, JUNE 7

7:28 a.m. Medical aid on North Main Street for a female patient that has been altered. Transported to Healdsburg General Hospital.

12:50 p.m. Assist Healdsburg Fire with a commercial structure fire on University Street. Canceled enroute.

2:33 p.m. Medical aid on Rockydale Lane for an unresponsive male. Coroner’s case.

6:14 p.m. Smoke check on McCray Road. Report of smoke seen from the Crocker Bridge. All units were unable to locate.

9:56 p.m. Medical aid on Cherry Creek Road for a 57-year-old female feeling ill. Transported to Sutter.

SATURDAY, JUNE 8

6:24 a.m. Vegetation fire on McCray Road. Small grass fire, undetermined cause.

1:36 p.m. Assist Healdsburg Fire with a vegetation fire on Grant Avenue. Canceled enroute.

SUNDAY, JUNE 9

3:39 p.m. Smoke check on River Road. Vehicle burning out and taking off real fast.

6:21 p.m. Smoke check in River Park. Small spot on the park path on the countyside.

6:48 p.m. Medical aid on East First Street for a 35-year-old male who overdosed on heroin. Administered Narcan, transported to Healdsburg General Hospital.
