The following are excerpted from Cloverdale Police Department daily log entries and the daily logs of the Cloverdale Fire Department.


7:20 a.m. Suspicious person on Kings Circle. Reporting party reports an elderly male subject came to her back window/slider. Reporting party declined officer response, just wants incident documented.

11:58 a.m. Accident with no details on Pepperwood Drive and Buckeye Circle. Reports vehicle accident with unknown injuries, two vehicles involved.

3:53 p.m. Assist out on Geysers Road. Reporting party reports she was on the river and had an incident with a few people. Advised to contact Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office. 

10:22 p.m. Welfare check on the South Cloverdale Boulevard overpass. Reports a female walking in circles and talking to herself. Contacted subject, advised to stay out of the road.

Tuesday, JUNE 25

2:49 a.m. Property found. Reporting party reports two males with three bikes hid as CPD unit passed southbound on North Cloverdale Boulevard. After passing, the two males left northbound with only two bikes.

7:58 p.m. Mentally ill on Zinfandel Court. Reporting party reports daughter knocked over a bowl of soup, hit reporting party on the head and is making threats with a knife.


8:47 a.m. Disturbance on South East Street. Anonymous reports verbal disturbance between male and female, gone on arrival. Female left in a vehicle and male left on foot.

10:19 a.m. Disturbance on Brookside Drive. Caller reports verbal, possible physical disturbance at the end of Brookside. Officer reports unable to locate.

2:56 p.m. Juvenile problem at school on South Washington Street. Caller requests officer at school for juveniles that are refusing to leave behind the band room; reporting party also wants to report graffiti. Reporting party called back; juveniles left.

6:43 p.m. Warrant arrest on River Road. Citation to appear on outstanding misdemeanor warrant.


8:06 a.m. Disturbance on Sunrise Drive. Anonymous reports a verbal disturbance between mother and son. Resolved.


1:40 a.m. Suspicious person at business on North Cloverdale Boulevard. Reporting party is the new renter for this business and is moving things in for her opening; states there are three males — one in an RV, one in a shed and one with a Pitbull on a leash in the back of her business and would like them moved along.

1:37 p.m. Suspicious circumstances at business on North Cloverdale Boulevard. Caller reports two separate incidents and one being vandalism to outside display.

9:16 p.m. Juvenile problem at business on North Main Street. Reporting party reports six to seven juveniles are engaging in activity in the bottom apartment and it is filling her apartment with smoke.

10:31 p.m. Suspicious person on South Main Street. Caller reports a male in his 50s just walked into his house. Reporting party yelled at him to leave and he walked out toward the City Plaza.


12:51 a.m. Domestic related incident on Monaco Circle. Party hears what sounds like a domestic violence in progress somewhere near his house.

4:02 a.m. Music disturbance on Grape Gables Way. Reporting party reports his daughter is playing music really loud in an attempt to get him to leave. Warned and advised.

9:33 a.m. Warrant arrest on South Cloverdale Boulevard for a “no bail” Sonoma County warrant.

6:35 p.m. Suspicious person on Marguerite Lane. Reporting party reports man near Furber Park on the trail behind Marguerite. Reporting party said he was looking into the yards of houses. Officer contacted, warned and advised; warrant, citation to appear.

8:48 p.m. Juvenile problem at City Plaza. Officer reports male juveniles jumping off the stage roof.


12:41 a.m. Drunk driving on South Foothill Boulevard and Moonlight Court. House party, people vomiting on the side of the streets, lots of possibly drunk people leaving the party at once. Reporting party estimates 15 to 20 cars. Unable to locate.

10:37 p.m. Suspicious person on Cottage Court. Male is camouflage walking up and down the street, has bags stashed in the bushes near the bottom of the hill, jumping into bushes to hide from cars.

11:10 p.m. Suspicious circumstances on Portofino Way. Reporting party reports neighbor left her dark blue car door and trunk open, groceries inside. Resident forgot to come back outside.

Cloverdale Fire Department


12:01 p.m. Vehicle accident on Pepperwood Drive. Vehicle hit parked car. No injuries. Did not transport.

1:13 p.m. Medical aid on Clark Avenue for a female with a ground level fall. She was not injured and did not get transported.

5:03 p.m. Medical aid on Trimble Lane for a 66-year-old male with difficulty breathing. Transported to Memorial.

7:15 p.m. Medical aid on Cloverdale Boulevard for a male patient with anxiety. Transported to Sutter.

9:05 p.m. Vegetation fire on McCray Road. Extinguished warming fire on the river bed. Parties advised.

Tuesday, JUNE 25

2:55 p.m. Medical aid on River Road for a female patient with a ground level fall. No medical merit, no transport.


4:05 a.m. Medical aid on South Cloverdale Boulevard for a male that had difficulty breathing. He was transported to Keiser.

6:29 p.m. Medical aid on South Cloverdale Boulevard for a young male having a seizure. Transported with present family members.


6:23 a.m. Vehicle accident at the Highway 128 exit on Highway 101. No injuries.

8:55 a.m. Medical aid on Cherry Court for a female fall victim. Female fell out of bed and had a possible broken hip. She was transported to Memorial.

9:11 a.m. Medical aid on Champlain Avenue for a female who fell out of bed. She was transported to Healdsburg General Hospital.

6:25 p.m. Medical aid at North Foothill Drive for an 82-year-old female who was feeling ill. She was transported to Healdsburg General Hospital.

9:12 p.m. Medical aid on Polaris Court for a 53-year-old male who had fainted. Not transported.


8:34 p.m. Medical aid on King Drive for a male with a ground level fall. Transported to memorial.


10:38 a.m. Two motorcycles down on Highway 128. One had major injuries, one had minor. Both were transported to Memorial.

12:08 p.m. Auto aids to Hopland for a medical aid. Male with a possible seizure.
