The following are excerpted from Cloverdale Police Department daily log entries and the daily logs of the Cloverdale Fire Department.


8:34 p.m. Suspicious circumstances at business on South Foothill Boulevard. Reporting party reports male detained on property, requests officer. Officer reports subject removed from property.

12:42 p.m. Drunk in public at business on South Cloverdale Boulevard. Report of man down near the front door. Transported to county jail.

12:56 p.m. Suspicious circumstances on Porterfield Creek Drive. Reports possible encampment at the end of the street. Officer responded, walked the entire area and is unable to locate any encampment.

6:40 p.m. Suspicious person on Elbridge Avenue. Reporting party reports two subjects acting weird near a red Honda Civic. Moved along.

8:57 p.m. Suspicious person at plaza on North Cloverdale Boulevard. Reporting party reports subject in plaza walking around with hands down his pants. Moved along.

10:38 p.m. Welfare check on Kings Circle. Reporting party reports female neighbor has been drinking today, looked worse than normal, possibly passed out in her apartment with water left running for the last two hours. Negative answer at the door, no running water heard.

11:43 p.m. Reckless driving on Del Webb Drive. Reporting party reports white sedan driving at least 50 miles per hour in a 35. Unable to locate.

Tuesday, JUNE 18

10:50 a.m. Miscellaneous service on Kings Valley Circle. Party reports neighbor is harassing her and may be violating restraining order.

6:37 p.m. Juvenile problem at high school on North Cloverdale Boulevard. Reporting party reports possible homeless encampment under home stands and announcing tower. Moved along.


7:07 p.m. Foot pursuit on Crocker and Levee roads. Officers in foot pursuit with subject that has a no bail misdemeanor warrant ran into the river area; officers unable to locate but will continue monitoring the area.

7:41 p.m. Suspicious circumstances on Clark Avenue. Reporting party reports female driver was seen dumping a load of garbage and debris in the complex dumpsters, state they do not live there. Officers advised.

8:19 p.m. No injury accident on North Cloverdale Boulevard. Vehicle hit in parking lot, parties exchanged information.

8:39 p.m. Out with subject at First Street Bridge on East First Street. Subjects contacted and told to put out a campfire, one subject contacted was identified as a missing person from Santa Rosa.


11:26 a.m. Warrant arrest on Preston Depot Road. Transported to county jail.

1:22 p.m. Injury accident at Commercial and West Third Street.

3:50 p.m. Juvenile problem on North Cloverdale Boulevard. Reporting party reports male juvenile riding in the street on a skateboard on his stomach, reports she almost hit him. Officer reports gone on arrival.

4:50 p.m. Warrant arrest on Geysers Road. Citation to appear.

6:32 p.m. Suspicious circumstances on Pepperwood Drive. Caller requests to speak with officer — states they purchased a cabinet to convert to a birdcage left the porch. The doors were found open and she wants report trespassing but has no suspects and did not see how it occurred.

6:36 p.m. Reckless driving on South Cloverdale Boulevard. Officers responded and located vehicle, citation to appear.

9:31 p.m. Traffic hazard on South Foothill Boulevard and Del Webb Drive. Caller reports five teenagers with remote control cars walking northbound on South Foothill, states they are driving the remote controlled cars into lanes of traffic and vehicles are swerving to avoid. Officer responded and checked area, unable to locate.


11:42 a.m. Property found on Citrus Fair Drive. Citrus Fair reports they found a wooden box of ammunition. Officer handled.

12:01 p.m. Neighborhood dispute on Kings Circle. Caller reports neighbor banging on walls since 8 a.m. Party wants nothing done, just to document that she called.

6:07 p.m. Suspicious person on Hillview Drive. Reporting party reports male walking through neighborhood claiming he works for PG&E and asking for reporting party’s bill. Party reports he didn’t have any kind of ID that he worked for PG&E except a badge with a PG&E sticker on it. Last seen headed west, officer unable to locate.

6:30 p.m. Suspicious person on Rolling Hill Court. Reporting party reports female going door-to-door. Party reports she is asking to lower the bill for PG&E. Officers contacted, warned and advised.

8:07 p.m. Juvenile problem on South Washington Street. Reporting party reports four to six juveniles near the library and front office possibly smoking marijuana. Officer responded, no violation observed on arrival.

8:41 p.m. Hit and run misdemeanor on Jefferson and West Second streets. Caller reports a vehicle crashed into his neighbor’s yard and left. Officers responded, others provided information on suspect and suspect vehicle.

8:55 p.m. Disturbance on Cherry Creek Road. Reporting party reports verbal disturbance between reporting party and subject, possibly drunk. Subject left in a vehicle prior to arrival. Reporting party declines assistance, officers to be on the lookout for vehicle and suspect.

9:23 p.m. Suspicious circumstances on Asti Road. 911 caller reports gunfire near the location, dispatch can hear in the background. Transferred to Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office.

9:58 p.m. Disturbance on Cherry Creek Road. Three 911 callers reporting fight in the roadway, two people are seen dragging someone from a vehicle. Officers responded, driver transported to county jail.


11:27 p.m. Welfare check on North Cloverdale Boulevard for a male subject, possibly in his 20s who asked someone nearby to buy drugs.

11:46 p.m. Neighborhood dispute on Kings Circle. Reporting party reports neighbor stomps in his apartment whenever he hears a dog, behavior has been going on for months.


7:51 p.m. Reckless driving on Ottoboni Drive. Reporting party reports a blue ford was driving fast through trailer park, said curse words to manager, now parked. Officer contacted both parties, advised not to stand in the road or drive fast through the park.

Cloverdale Fire Department


9:30 a.m. Public assist on Cherry Creek Road and South Cloverdale Boulevard for a person who fell out of their motor scooter. Pick up and put back.

12:43 p.m. Medical aid on South Cloverdale Boulevard for a 24-year-old male down on the sidewalk. Turned out he was intoxicated, police arrested him, he became aggressive.

Tuesday, JUNE 18

2:51 p.m. Medical aid on Stonegate Circle for a 19-year-old male with seizures. Transported to Healdsburg General Hospital.

5:36 p.m. Vehicle accident on Highway 101 and Squaw Rock. Assist Hopland Fire with a single vehicle fatality rollover.

6:16 p.m. Hazardous materials on McCray Road. Report of oil drums left in the roadway, drums actually on private property.


5:01 a.m. Medical aid on South Cloverdale Boulevard for a 37-year-old with chest pain. Transported to Healdsburg General Hospital.

7:03 p.m. Medical aid on Furber Lane for a 57-year-old male feeling ill. Transported to Kaiser.


9:03 a.m. Hazardous conditions on River Road. Low leaning tree across one lane of the road.

1:25 p.m. Vehicle accident on Commercial Street. Vehicle into a house, driver was not injured.

9:49 p.m. Medical aid on Cherry Creek Road for a female feeling ill. Transported to Healdsburg General Hospital.

11 p.m. Smoke check on South East Street. Found a barbecue cooking ribs.


11:34 a.m. Medical aid on Laurel Court for a female fall victim. Transported to Kaiser.

3:01 p.m. Medical aid on University Street for a female smoking cannabis who had a slight panic attack. No transport.

3:30 p.m. Vegetation fire on Highway 128. Assist Geyserville with vegetation fire.

5:49 p.m. Smoke check at Crocker Bridge. Smoke check found a cooking fire at the river. Occupants extinguished fire while they were at the scene.


5:24 p.m. Public assist on the Geysers Road. Five people needed to get back across the river, assisted them back across the river.

7:36 p.m. Coroner’s case on Clark Street.

8:04 p.m. Vehicle accident on Highway 128. Vehicle was abandoned.


2:42 p.m. Medical aid on South Cloverdale Boulevard for a 33-year-old female with numb hands. No transport.
