COURT LEADER — Senior forward Kayli Persons is in the midst of a strong winter basketball campaign for the unbeaten Lady Eagles.

Ladies finish first half of league at 7-0 

The Lady Eagles maintained a strangle hold on league supremacy after one full trip around the NCL 1 circuit, pushing their record to 7-0 with lopsided wins over Willits, Clear Lake and St. Helena.

At the start of play this week Cloverdale (7-0, 15-4) held a one-game lead over the second place Middletown Mustangs, with a Jan. 22 (after press time) showdown at Middletown looming on the schedule. The Eagles will host Kelseyville this Friday, Jan. 25. Tip-off times for the JV and varsity are 5 and 7:30 p.m.
