Gather with us in North Bay Reclaiming to celebrate Fall Equinox. This is the time of year when the length of day and night are perfectly balanced before tipping into the darkening season. Often a time of celebrating harvest, we prepare for the nights to come.
"...Reflecting on the Gifts that Bring Us Balance."
When and where: Saturday, Sept. 22 - doors open at 3:30 p.m., ritual begins at 4 p.m. - at Sebastopol Subud Hall, 234 Hutchins Ave., Sebastopol
BRING: Bring two things to this next ritual. One an alter item of a gifts that you received in your life that changed and/or altered your path. (You will take this home at the end). Two a land offering that you can place into a cauldron and will not be receiving back. An offering for the land. This may be soil, fertilizer, a beautiful stone you found on the earth, or something natural of the earth that you would like to give away to the earth as a gift for the blessings you have received in being alive.
We will be asking for donations to help us cover our expenses for the event, a sliding scale of $13 to $30.
No one turned away for lack of funds.
Newbies are welcome!!!
All of our rituals are clean and sober spaces.
This ritual is child friendly, however the meditation is oriented toward adults and so may be a little slow for children, so you may want to bring coloring items for them, or some cusions so that they can have a space to relax and be self-entertained.
