JV Tiger basketballers fly past El Mo, 63-53

El Mo frosh avoid sweep with 50-44 win over Tigers

 The JV Flying Tiger basketball squad captured its third straight Sonoma County League crown last week, defeating a determined host El Molino contingent, 63-53.

Analy, led by coaches Ben Morita and Ryan Cook, finished in a tie with Windsor for the SCL title with a 10-2 record and 21-5 overall.   The Lions wrapped up the season with a 4-8 league mark.   

Top Analy scorers against the Lions included: Eli Alcantar (26), Julian Titus-Patino (21), Raffi Dick (8), Paul Dick (6), and Kasey Williams (2).  Leading the charge for the Lions were: Jordan Nordby (15), Mike Crowder (10), Tyler Elderkin (9), Michael Pierson (8), Ryan Emory (7), Martin Newman (2), and Josiah Chrebtou (2). 

El Molino Frosh turn back Tigers

The El Molino boys frosh team completed a very strong season last week with wins over Analy, 50-44 and Petaluma to complete the league season in second place at 9-3.  The Tigers finished up the SCL campaign with a mark of 3-9, and 4-17 overall.

Top El Mo point-producers in the frosh “Apple Game” were: Taylor Davis (26), Dallas Packard (6), Chet Lambert (4), Eric Reab (4), Will Plaugher (4), John Carlson (3), Kyle Brinson (2), and Max Amormino (1).  Leading the Tiger attack were: Ryan Willis (10), Bryan Fagerness (8), Mike O’Daniel (7), Chepe Tapia (5), Joe Clemmer (4), Jordan McCann (3), Max Soden (3), Austin Beach (2), and J.D. Hagle (2).
