Erin Elliot at Windsor Middle School and Pete Sullivan at Windsor High School
According to a statement from the Windsor Unified School District, two new administrators have been hired for the district. The board of trustees approved the appointment of Erin Elliott as the new assistant principal of Windsor Middle School and Pete Sullivan as the new assistant principal of Windsor High School.
Elliott will be stepping into the role currently served by Lisa Joseph, who is moving on to Mattie Washburn as principal. Sullivan will be stepping into a new assistant principal role that has been added for WHS beginning with the 2018-19 school year.
According to the district, Elliott is currently a math teacher at Analy High School in the West Sonoma County Union High School District. Additionally, Elliot is the activities director and leadership teacher. Elliott has third through 12th grade teaching experience in math, English language arts and an accelerated learning classroom. She holds a bachelor of arts in liberal studies, magna cum laude and a multiple subject teaching credential from Sonoma State University. She additionally earned her single subject credential in foundational level mathematics.
Elliott is completing a master of science in applied school leadership from National University along with her administrative services credential from Sonoma County Office of Education/ North Coast School of Education.
Pete Sullivan is not new to Windsor Unified School District, but will be a new face at Windsor High. Prior to being selected as the new assistant principal, Sullivan has been a physical education, science and STEM teacher, and has served as the athletic director at Windsor Middle School. Prior to coming to Windsor, Sullivan was a physical education and hospitality and tourism teacher at Healdsburg High School.
Sullivan holds a bachelor of arts in liberal studies from the University of California at Davis, and a single subject physical education teaching credential from Sonoma State University. He additionally earned his single subject credential in foundational level general science. Sullivan is completing a master of science in public administration from National University along with his administrative services credential from Sonoma County Office of Education/North Coast School of Education.
