Windsor Girls Scouts were serving up sweet treats and desserts to first responders outside the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office on Sunday, Oct. 15.

Girl Scouts from several troops in service unit 107 had the opportunity to serve many first responders from near and far who were here to help with the various fires in the county. The girls baked and served homemade items and had the opportunity to personally thank the men and women in uniform for their service.

"What an amazing evening filled with love and gratitude," wrote organizer Jennifer Wall. "Thank you to all of the parents who rallied with less than 24 hours notice to make this happen."
